East Dock Voices is looking for sixteen singers who want to sing a pop & jazz repertoire (and maybe some gospel and/or world music) to a high level, conducted by choral director and arranger Tijs Krammer. We will be singing existing arrangements by, for example, Take 6, The New York Voices, The Real Group and Pentatonix. We will be choosing the pieces together, as well as arranging some of them ourselves. So, you will have a real opportunity to contribute to the group.
We will be using and rehearsing with wireless microphones.
Rehearsals will be on Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 10.00 p.m. at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
East Dock Voices offers students ODM and students with voice as a principal subject the possibility to sing in, arrange for and lead an excellent vocal group. For them East Dock Voices is a specialising ensemble.
Rehearsals will start in april. The auditions will take place on Sunday April 14th and Thursday evening 18th. Please sign up before the start of April.
Fees: €20,00 per month for students and €30,00 per month for graduates and employed people.
